For Families and Others Who Have
Loved Ones With Disabling Conditions

Agape Parents' Fellowship, Inc. is an interdenominational organization dedicated to parents and families of loved ones with disabling conditions. We foster Judeo-Christian principles of sharing one another's burdens, encouraging one another, and praying for one another. It is our desire to minister to each family through a holistic approach, creating a happy, healthy, and secure family unit. No one will be discriminated against nor restricted from services because of race, religion, creed, age, ethnic background, national origin, gender, marital status or disability.

Agape Parents Fellowship has a mission to foster God's Agape love to every family that it serves. "Agape" is a Greek word that describes a love that gives freely, expecting nothing in return. This is the love that God has for each of us - and the only kind of love that makes a difference in the lives of our children.

Most of us will agree that parenting is a great responsibility and an enormous undertaking; but as parents of a loved one with disabling conditions, we realize that ours if of a special kind. The pain and joy that we share takes on all forms. There are moments of despair, loneliness, and isolation; but there are also times of jubilation to be especially cherished.

To see a child develop and progress is a thrill for any parent; but to see a child struggle and then achieve his fullest potential is indeed a joyous celebration. Many times our children succeed in ways we never thought possible; and God's Agape' love is what gives us the joy to experience the hope in these successes and the strength to look expectantly toward tomorrow.
